Grants

Making innovative projects possible

Your ideas can bring new opportunities to New Rochelle!

Launched in 2018, the Fund's hallmark Grants Program can supplement an instructional need, fulfill an enrichment opportunity or subsidize a program/project that might not otherwise happen or reach the ideal scale.

Applications are welcome from administrators, teachers, parents and students across the school district. All grants must benefit students in the City School District of New Rochelle (CSDNR). Innovative projects and programs that reflect the Fund's mission, vision and values are prioritized. We encourage applicants to be thoughtful and creative in their grant requests. The application asks for the program's goals, description and projected cost. Please keep in mind that the Fund favors programs that are compatible with CSDNR curricula, have measurable goals and objectives, and encourage collaboration across classes, disciplines, teams, and schools.

The grants program is contingent upon funding availability, with budget considerations reviewed annually as part of the Board's budgeting process. As of June 2024, the Fund has awarded over $130,000 to support more than 100 programs/projects across the district.
